Camila Vallieva wowed the world when she stepped on the ice for her first Olympics this

past weekend. Saturday's event was the team's short program and afterwards even her rivals

from the U.S. stood up to give her a standing ovation. NBC commentator and two-time Olympian

Johnny Weir went so far as to say Camila is the best women skater he's ever seen. The judges

seem to agree. Her first performance earned her the second highest short program score in history,

tapped only by her own score last month's European championships. Remarkably Camila isn't even

the youngest Olympian in Beijing. That distinction goes to Anzaka Andrakova, a ski jumper from the

Czech Republic who was also 15 but two months younger than Camila. Queen Elizabeth is now the

longest-raining head of state in British history. Yesterday she celebrated 70 years on the throne,

a position she's held since 1952 when she was just 25 years old. In the years since the queen

has outlasted seven popes, 14 U.S. presidents and 13 British prime ministers. And while this

February marks the official anniversary of her ascension, the real royal hoopla for her platinum

Jubilee begins on June 2nd when there will be four days of parades, putting contests,

plain flybys and parties. The queen, also being a master of messaging, was keen to make the most

of the attention she received this past weekend. In a statement outlining the future of the monarchy,

she told the world that when her son Prince Charles becomes king, she would like his somewhat
