Today is Thursday, February 6th, 2025.

And we begin with a parade of storms bearing down in

the eastern half of the U.S. and proving Punksitani Phil may have been on the mark. According to

forecasters, as many as three significant back-to-back winter weather systems will hit over the next

few days. The first, already bringing ice and snow to millions of people

across more than a dozen states in the Midwest and Northeast.

The first two are expected to bring substantial amounts of freezing rain, which can lead

to dangerous road and sidewalk conditions, while the third will be mostly snow.

A winter storm watch issued for parts of west central Pennsylvania

says travel could be nearly impossible. The West Coast is confronting its own set of storms with the

National Weather Service warning of heavy rain with a risk of flooding, as well as heavy snow in the

Sierra's, Southern Cascades, and Northern Rockies through tomorrow.
