Homily from the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.

| 0:00.0 | So when it came to that person, that person, that, at the beginning of a mess, asked the |
| 0:07.8 | question, like, who is the most influential person, the most important person in your |
| 0:10.5 | life? I wasn't listening to what you answered, so I don't know what you said. My guess is |
| 0:16.7 | it's probably like, you know, this particular teacher, this particular coach, maybe a sibling, |
| 0:20.3 | maybe a parent, like a mom or dad, that kind of thing, maybe an uncle or aunt who are |
| 0:24.6 | deeply invested in you, all these different people in all these different lives right here, |
| 0:28.5 | I think all of them likely have something in common with each other. And whether |
| 0:35.3 | they were, you're related to them, whether they were, you're not related at all, regardless |
| 0:39.0 | of how often you saw each other, my guess is all of them have something in common with |

| 1:03.9 | ordinary lives. If you looked at their life, they're probably pretty normal, maybe boring, |
| 1:11.9 | but pretty much unimpressive. Maybe step back and got away from like the impact they |
| 1:17.4 | made on your life, you would look at their lives and say, well, what did their day filled |
| 1:21.0 | up with picking up the kids, maybe getting groceries, you know, running errands, cleaning |
| 1:25.8 | the dishes, replacing toilet paper roll, like this, just carving out time, carving out time |
| 1:32.5 | prepare, making it through mass, you know, especially if they have kids like making it through |
| 1:36.7 | mass, that kind of idea that in so many ways, most likely the course of those people, that |
| 1:42.2 | person who is most influential in life, the course of their day, looks massively unimpressive. |
| 1:48.4 | It's an important person who has changed your life, most of their life most likely looks |
