Do not underestimate what God is doing when it seems like God is doing nothing.
There are seasons of silence, and hiddenness, and brokenness in all of our lives. These times are not just useful, they are necessary for us to become the kind of people God needs us to be.
Matthew 4:12-23

| 0:54.0 | They did a study back in 1977 where they wanted to prove that we underestimate how much time it'll take to get anything done. |

| 1:05.0 | And they did a study, basically, they came to the conclusion that we have a tendency to disregard historical data when it comes to making predictions. |
| 1:12.0 | Even though we may have been in the same situation and we did the same project and it took us a certain amount of time, we think, well, next time it'll take us less time. |
| 1:20.0 | In fact, they did another study in 1993 where they had 37 psychology seniors and writing their senior thesis. |
| 1:29.0 | A writing their senior thesis and they said, okay, estimate how long do you think it'll take you to write your senior thesis? |
| 1:35.0 | You are seniors in this major. |
| 1:37.0 | You know how long it takes to write papers. |
| 1:38.0 | Here's your senior thesis. |
