0:44.3	Oh, today, great phrasal verb, to put someone on. To put somebody on. I'm going to give you two definitions for this phrasal verb. The first definition to put somebody on is to hire somebody. To put somebody on.
0:53.1	To put somebody on. I would love to put somebody on.
0:54.9	I would love to put somebody on here at Let's Master English.
1:02.0	I would love to be able to hire somebody to take care of the editing,
1:08.5	audio editing and video editing.
1:11.7	Oh, I need somebody.
1:12.8	I need somebody for that job.
1:15.3	Money is the problem.
1:17.0	I do not have enough money to pay anybody for that work.
1:21.9	To put somebody on one possible meaning to hire.
1:27.1	Another possible meaning is to tease somebody. So, for example,
1:33.9	you say, Shane, I want to give you $10,000. And I can't believe it. What? Really? Are you putting me on?
1:45.1	Are you teasing me?
1:47.9	And of course, then you say, yes, I am.
1:50.9	That was funny.
1:53.4	And then I cry.
1:55.7	So to put somebody on can have two very different meanings.
