Hey guys, welcome back to the podcast. So a few weeks back, I received an email from a longtime

follower and amazingly talented stepmom blogger, Beth from babbling blonde blog. I love Beth's story,

her perspective, and her commitment to following her heart. So here's her deal. Beth grew up in a small town in West Virginia and a

super conservative rural dot in Coal Country USA. About five years ago, she moved to Pittsburgh and ended a

seven-year relationship with her college boyfriend. About a year after that, she realized she was in

love with her best friend, Jen, who had an incredible three-year-old daughter.

Jen and Beth moved in together in 2016, and Beth officially became a stepmom in 2017.

Obviously, being in a same-sex relationship makes Beth's story a little different than your standard stepmom blogger.

So when she had trouble relating to what she saw online, she started blogging about her own
