Hi there and welcome back.

It's me, Sasha, and this is the Last Night on Earth. On the show this month, I'll be playing you back one of my recent sets which was recorded at a beautiful new venue in New York called The Flash Factory. So the summit is truly over and it's been a month that has given us some really sad news about a couple of clubs that are very close to my heart.

First up, I'm sure you've heard about Fabric in London being shut down recently due to their licence being revoked.

There's a campaign being put together to help fund Fabric, keep a small team together,

and to keep working on some events and help prepare their legal flight to get the license reinstated.

I've been playing at Fabric since the opening weekend, I've had residences there.

The DJ booth is one of my favourite places to play on the entire planet.

I would start DJing there at 2 in the morning.

Before you know it, it's 8 a.m. and the birds are tweeting outside.

And you're walking out of the venue with a smile on your face

surrounded by exhausted, happy people.

The booth had such a unique design.

It was the middle of the dance floor,

but you were completely protected.

So you just got yourself lost in music.

It was kind of the perfect DJ booth.
