Last Night on Earth

This month This month I'll be taking welcome to the September edition of The Last Night on Earth with me, Sasha.

This month I'll be taking you to the Middle East with a recording from the Grand Factory in Beirut.

Beirut has had a regular spot on my calendar for the last 10 years.

It's always been a pleasure to go and play there.

No matter what people's preconceptions about the place are, I've always found the crowd

to be really friendly, really educated, and best of all, really up for it.

It's been a crazy month of travelling, the parties all over Europe, I've played gigs at

DC10 for Circo Loco and for Jamie Jones's Paradise Party.

I also got to play for the first time at the legendary subclub in Glasgow,

for resident advisors takeover there.

It was also my return to Brighton after over a 10-year hiatus

at the Great Concord 2 room.

I also managed to get back to Lush in Port Rush after five years.

For a legendary night there, it certainly felt like it was turning about the clock.

And talking about the clock, probably the biggest highlight of this month, probably this year,

was the fact that John Digwood and I got to play together again at Nick Fanchuli's amazing social festival in Maidston. Nick has put a great

event on there for the last couple of years that I've been lucky to play it on my own, but John
