Our guest on the phone once held the Michigan football rushing record and finished his

Michigan career second and the touchdown list behind Heisman Trophy winner Tom Harmon.

Named the team's MVP in 1971. That game-winning touchdown you just heard, came in the final few minutes of the Ohio

State game, probably clinched that MVP award for him. A tough early adulthood led him to turn to God,

and then he eventually became an author and got his doctorate degree. Today, he is recognized

as one of the seven historic mellow men of Michigan.

Seven iconic Michigan football graduates of 1972 are known for what they have done off the field

as much as they have done on the field. And Dr. Billy Taylor joins us here on the professor and the

Pundit on Fantastic Friday on the Big 1050 WTCA.
