Feeling All Right by Warpaint, featuring my guest Stella Mazgava on drums.

Formed in 2004, with Stella joining in 2009, Warpaint has garnered widespread critical acclaim

and won fans across the world. Although they've performed at major music festivals and supported

legendary artists such as Nick Cave, the Los Angeles band is just hitting its

stride and since Stella joined, the songwriting process has become more collaborative

and distinct. One thing that makes warpaint an incredibly exciting band is its ceaseless creative evolution.

And with each step forward, Stella's contributions have become more integral.

Her creative, nuanced, and hypnotic drum parts are meticulously composed and utterly essential to each song.

Now here's our interview with Stella Mosgava.

Tell me about where you came from.

Well, in a broader sense, I came from a Polish heritage.

So both of my parents are Polish.

And they immigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1982.

And I was born in 1986.

So I'm kind of a mutt.
