Okay, hey friends, welcome to the Ruth Joe Simon's podcast. And today we're going to talk about rest. We're going to talk about

0:23.6

rest again because I don't know about you, but I need another conversation about why it's so

0:31.4

hard to rest. Okay? Are you here? I'm telling you, it's the weirdest thing, but somehow you kind of go along your way and you

0:42.0

think, I'm doing fine, I'm getting the rest I need. And whether it's physical rest, emotional rest,

0:49.7

1:45.4

1:51.0

plenty of time to prep for the day? So often I'm like, okay, I don't want to hit the ground

1:56.7

running. And yet I'm hitting the ground running again. I just got back from a trip. And so I think

2:03.5

it's especially poignant when I realized that at 49 years old, I can't skimp on rest like I used

2:11.4

to. Do any other middle-aged women want to testify? Because I used to be able to be like, no biggie.

2:21.7

I can pull an all-nighter.
