You know what makes me laugh? I spent a considerable amount of time, really, preparing my recording studio in my home office. And it's awesome. Truly, it is awesome. I've got all those soundproofing foam panels up everywhere and my microphone stand and everything is wonderful and so convenient. And it is such an awesome place to record in the middle of the night.

If I record in the daytime, it does not matter what I do. It doesn't matter how tightly I close

the windows or how much I work to soundproof this space. You can almost always, in the light of day,

you can almost always hear birds

chirping outside my window. Now, at first I was like, oh my gosh, this is so annoying. I wonder

if they can hear it and I was worried about it, it ruining the sound quality for you. And

then I thought, am I kidding? Who am I kidding? This is like a bonus feature.

Like they get to hear these happy, wonderful Hawaiian birds chirping in the Hawaiian sun.

We attended the Alt Summit conference in Palm Springs together a few weeks ago,

and we were able to connect and have this wonderful conversation.

And I'm just so excited

for you to experience Miranda's light. I'm sure many of you already know her and already

listen to her weekly podcast. You may know her through her DIY tutorials on her blog or her

fantastic inspiration on her Instagram. And most notably, maybe not in general, but as far as

I am concerned, most notably Miranda has a book that is coming out this June. And I am so proud of her.
