And I'm Abby Tharing, the badass breastfeater.

And Abby's going to tell us a little bit more about what we're going to talk about.

So today is the first installment of a three-episode series on nursing in public, which is my favorite topic in the whole world. So I took over the

podcast for three episodes, episodes, so we could talk about the popular topic of nursing in

public. And so today we're going to be talking about reasons to breastfeed in public and also the fears that we have about breastfeeding in public.

And so when I, so this all started as a email course that I wrote a few years ago called Become a Badass Public Breastfeater in Seven

Days. And each day when you signed up, you would get an email of one of the chapters. And you

don't have to sign up by email anymore. You can go right to my blog. It's right there in the

categories, become a badass public breastfeater, and you can read it if you like. But we'll be pretty much

doing all of the information here. And so what I did before I wrote this is I was polling the

Facebook community on different things like, you know, what's your biggest fear

about nursing in public? Like, what are the things where are barriers? How does your family feel

about it? And we're going to get into all these topics. But the first one we're going to talk about

is reasons to breastfeed in public and the fears that we have.

And so reasons, it's like, you know, you're kind of like, why do I need a reason

to breastfeeding in public?
