Well, hey, friends, welcome back to the podcast. I am going to have a real vulnerable

At the time of this recording, I am currently 49 years old and Troy and I went on a date last night and talked about my 50th birthday.

You know, for the longest time, I've been like, turning 50 is going to be so amazing. I can't wait to be 50.

And honestly, I still feel that way. I'm excited and about maturity. I'm excited about,

I'm excited about being 50. I don't think I'm scared of it. But I have to be really

honest with you. I am now feeling all the things that kind of come

with age that I really didn't notice before. And so this morning, I woke up and I thought,

I really need to have an honest conversation with my friends on the podcast here about what it

feels like to age and to feel different about my body

and to wrestle with this season of life. I hope some of you who are listening are perhaps a

decade or two decades or even three decades younger than me. And I pray that this conversation

will be even useful for you

because I really want to take a step back and look at my mindset in the last two or three

decades. And I hope that through this conversation, we all grow in looking backwards,

looking at our present and looking ahead. And so thanks for joining me

today on this conversation. You know, I think for the longest time, I've always thought that

that sometimes that growing older is one of those things where if you just have a good

attitude, everything will be

great and that you'll just really embrace your body and embrace the wrinkles and all those things.

And while that's true, I think what I'm finding is that my body is going through such major changes
