Today is the first official day of spring,

but we have been feeling little touches of it

for the last few weeks. Here in the garden my peach tree is filled with

pink peachy beautiful frilly blossoms. This might be embarrassing, but I'm going to tell you anyway, because we're friends.

I saw a bumblebee on the tree for the first time a few days ago, and I might have had a little freak out party. I might have even audibly said hello to the bee and beckoned him to bring all of his friends to the peach tree because we can't do anything without our pollinator friends and I get pretty pumped about pollinators.

I'm starting to smell things here in the garden. All the pansies that were

left over from the fall have since wintered over which means that they survived the

cold and they get pretty yucky looking for a while and it's one of those things

that really teaches me a lot that you can see a plant in winter that looks like

it's on its last leg, but just give it a little sunshine
