Welcome back to the Michigan Insider, Big 1050WTCA online at the big 1050.com. No Sam Webb this morning. He efforted yesterday. He really tried. He came into the studio for the last part of the Emgo Blog roundtable. He really tried. But he sounded more like 11-year-old Michael Jackson than Sam Webb. There was a guy that was up there named Trey. And there was out there with Trey. And then there was a kid named Brandon. in the same with Brandon?

That's actually pretty good. So Sam will hopefully be fully voiced or close enough to fully voiced and back in the air chair tomorrow. He was yesterday or Monday. He did in the, yesterday in the afternoon. He did go up to Flint. It was Tray Day in Flint, Michigan.

And actually, John Bacon is joining us once again during this 9 o'clock hour on the Michigan Insider.

Bakes yesterday, as I mentioned, Tray Day in Flint, Michigan.

And Sam goes up there.

They had four speakers at Tray Day.

And the first of the four speakers was Mateen Cleefs.

Was Flint trolling? Like, what was going on? Are they trolling Michigan State? Like, what are they doing there? I don't know. Because then they had the mayor, they had the head coach of Orchard Lake St. Mary's where Trey McKinney went to high school. They had the mayor of Flint. And then they had, Mike Boynton was there representing the Michigan coaching staff but the first speaker was Matin Cleese. I have no comment. Oh, it's great. It's great. By the way, poor Sam, Sam, we love you, brother. Ms. He's got to know, though. He's got to know. Man's got to know that you show up like that. And my voice is honky and how it is. Yeah, it's a locker room, baby. You don't control

that. And the stuff's going to come your way. It is Tuesday. If you haven't had a chance,

just listen to pick any clip of like from the last half of the show on Tuesday and you'll hear what it sounded like

initial because the whole thing started Bakes where I got a text like before the show on Tuesday

morning where Sam's like I don't know how this happened but I woke up with no voice and he came

in we had guests coming in so he battled through it and it's an interesting listen you can hear

but it was he had more of a voice Tuesday than he did yesterday. He had the all-day event out at UMCU on Wednesday. He did not do the show Wednesday, but we were at that event. He did end doing more talking than he probably should have. And so he was not here yesterday, except for the last part of the roundtable. And if you want to just listen to the last 30 minutes of the roundtable, there was a little bit of Sam in there. And then there's me reading messages that Sam was giving me to read. And Biggs, I get it. I know. Trust me. At some point, Carmen's going to come around and bite me in the butt or bite me in the, you know, in the vocal folds and, you know, remind me why I am what, you know, that maybe I need to watch where I'm at. But at the same time, this, it's just, it's a bro loving another bro. Just, Sam, I love you. So I have to clown you a little bit. Just remind you that I still love you. That's all. It would have been, hey, look. Go ahead, John. Go ahead. This could have happened.

Like, it doesn't happen to me all that often, but when I was younger, I actually had to go to a, it was a doctor that sent me to whoever. Like, I had to learn how to, I was talking from my throat and not from my chest. And if you, and you can actually crush your vocal cords that way. It's a terrible way to talk if you're talking from your throat not fully.

That's why I apparently now talk loudly in quiet rooms. I have projected really well. It worked too well apparently. Apparently. That and I have a little, I have my hearing is starting to slightly go, which means I don't think I'm as loud as I am and I know I'm apparently pretty loud. All right. John, you bake him. No, no, no.

We've got to close that one up, though.
