Big day on the show today.

Gracie turns 13 today. Happy birthday to my kiddo. We'll send those messages out again in a little over an hour from now when she should be listening on her way to school. But Gracie turns 13 today. So big day in the wine travel household. That'll be capped with a softball game later on today as well. So excited about that. Excited about this week that is coming up because, of course, Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner, which means this coming Friday, pools begin to open now. The weather's got to cooperate as well, but pools open this Friday. I'm trying to provide the good news before we get to the disappointing news from last night, the disappointing performance from last night. I'm going to procrastinate it as long as I can because we've got some other news and notes to get to from over the weekend before we get to the disappointments that the tigers are now 4 and 11 in May. I guess I'll just get that out of the way. They lost again yesterday. 13 more games to go in May to get back to 500 this month. The Tigers are going to have to go 10 and 3. And that's not likely because things are getting rougher and rougher to watch. They're getting rougher and rougher to enjoy. So there is that. So I'll mention that note. We'll get back to, we'll get to the Pistons obviously coming up here on the show. But the Michigan football program had a really good weekend.

So we'll get to that in a moment.

The Michigan men's basketball program officially got good news over the weekend.

We'll get to that in just a moment.

Disappointing end to the Michigan softball season as they got the win on Friday night. They played Kansas in the opening game of the NCAA softball tournament.

It was a phenomenal pitching and defensive game, both teams.

It was eight, oh, zero, zero going into the eighth inning.

And Kansas finally won it in the bottom of the eighth inning.

But you always knew that they would, you'd have to beat Kansas on Saturday night in order to advance to Sunday to have a chance to advance beyond that.

So after dispatching Binghamton in the earlier game, I guess the middle of the three games

in Norman on Saturday, Michigan survived a ridiculous shootout on Saturday night,

capped by Janicea Conway's walk-off home run, phenomenal hit.

Great way to win it.

Great way to end it.

But you knew they'd have to beat Oklahoma twice.
