So I jokingly said that you made the smart choice by not going to Columbus. Part of it also, although is different, have you ever been to a basketball game in Columbus against Michigan? I have. I have, yeah. It's the only game that they actually are up for.

I went to a bunch of years ago in a Big Ten ACC challenge the year before Maryland entered the Big Ten, I was down there for a Maryland-Ohio State game. And let's just say the crowd was really quiet. Even their cheer group, whatever, the kids that lead their cheering, their students, and to get them loud, they tried, but no. and then they put a Brady Hoke look like on the screen and the plays booze like crazy.

They put a block him on the screen with a circle line through it and the place goes crazy. And then that one that's over, it goes back to being quiet again. I'm sure for the Michigan game, it was pretty on point, at least for a while. The Michigan took care of business and took care of business and it was a lot of fun that way.

But you have been to some places. So we're places in the Big Ten have you been that you enjoyed the most for basketball.

I mean, Michigan State far and beyond like the loudest environment I've been to, the most energetic.

And obviously the rivalry plays into that.

I mean, this year the crowd was fantastic, right?

And I'm sitting here in studio

with you, Ira, and you've got the photo of Dusty May behind you. I would just say the amount of

energy in that building from 80 minutes before tip off was fantastic. And it's the sort of thing

that Dusty was talking about it this week is Michigan State has, you know, 40, 50 years at this

point where they've just been a successful basketball program and the fan base has built up around

that. And Michigan doesn't quite have that at this point.

It's much more fragmented in the history of basketball. Much more fragmented, even in recent

history. And obviously there's a lot of success on the football side as well from Michigan's

perspective but i mean my hope especially with both the men's and women's programs with big

games coming up and the success that both programs have had recently is to see that fan base blossom

and you know michigan state bruson center is a special place to go experience a game.

So is Mackey Arena.

I'm going there next week,

and I'm pumped for that.

I've been there against a bad Michigan team.
