Never give up on my call, working and pushing, and I'm not going to stop till it's gold.

I know I think and grow.

0:29.0

Hello there on my think and grow chicks.

0:32.3

This is Courtney, the founder of think and growchick.com.

And today I'm back with another podcast on how to have

0:40.9

more time and more money. So this was something I was inspired to write a blog post about and do a

0:49.1

podcast about because I think that time management and money management are probably the two greatest things

0:56.8

that today's average go-geting woman struggles with, you know?

1:01.2

And I think it has a lot to do with us just wanting so much and not figuring out how to balance

1:07.5

it all.

1:08.1

And that's what I'm going to talk to you all about today. So I've gotten a lot

1:13.0

better with managing time and money, but of course I'm not perfect. And I'm still on a

1:18.7

journey just like you. And I'm always looking at ways to balance, balance that even better and

1:23.8

manage that even better. So I noticed that for a few weeks, I kept saying things to

1:30.5

myself like, oh, if I only had more time, if I only had more money, then I could really do

1:36.9

this. Or if I only had more time, then I could really do this. And it's so funny when you say

1:42.4

things like that to yourself, I'm sure you can relate, because you're always just like, if I could just have a little bit more, you know, you don't walk around saying to yourself like, oh man, if I just had a million dollars, or if I just had a billion dollars, or if I just had, you know, 40 hours of just complete time during the day to do what I want to do, we always just want just a little more than what we had. If I just, oh, if I just could get just another hour a day, then I could just really do what I want to do. Or, ooh, if I could just make another $100 a week, that would just, ooh, that would just give me the space that I needed to do to do whatever it is that I want to do. And the thing about that, though, I think if we think about it and we're honest, we would say that no matter how much money or how much time we had. And I know this because I remember when I was in college and I look back at it now and I'm like, man, I had time during the day. You know, I would go to class and I have a two hour break here, an hour and a half break there. But when I was in school, I felt like I never had enough time and I for sure didn't have enough money. So I used to say all the time, man, I cannot wait to graduate. And I just get a regular nine to five job where I don't have to do term papers and all

2:51.8

this stuff. I'll be making more money. Just make just $20 a week. If I could just give my mom to

2:57.5

send me an extra $30 a week, my life would be so much better. If I could just take one less class

3:03.9

and just have one more day off during the week, then everything would be great.

3:27.3

But now that I've graduated from school and I no longer have term papers to write and I do have a 9 to 5 job that, you know, pays a regular paycheck every two weeks, I'm still saying the same things. I'm still like, oh my goodness, if I just didn't have this 9 to 5 job and I was just working for myself doing what I really wanted to do, then I would be able to do X, Y, and Z.

3:32.2

Or if I was just making this much money out of my business, then I'd be able to do whatever.
