How many of you out there listening have siblings?

What are your relationships like with your brothers and or sisters?

I know some of you are probably very very close to your siblings.

You would consider them your best friends.

The dynamic of the relationship between brothers and sisters is a very unique thing. You share the same parents and

your siblings could very well be your polar opposites or you could be just alike.

You could hate on each other so hard one minute and be the best of Buds the next.

Once your mom and dad are gone, you'll have each other to lean on for the rest of your lives.

Ideally, it could or should be an indelible bond.

No matter what comes between the two of you, there should always be a way for you

guys to set aside those disparities and make amends.

Because no matter what, family is everything.

Most people will never know another human being in this world longer than they will know their brother or sister.

They may fight incessantly throughout their entire childhood and

adolescence, possibly even into adulthood. They may even lose touch for a period of their adult lives.

Conversely, they may live incredibly close lives and stay connected forever.

For some people, their siblings will always come first and foremost.

If you really think about it, the relationships with your brothers and sisters are life's longest lasting relationships, longer than your parents, longer than your spouses,

even longer than the relationships you will have with your own children, with the exception of a few lucky people, longer

than even a best friend.

That's a lot of life to spend knowing another human being.
