Hey guys, how's it going? Scott here again from Scottsbatesessons.com and I'm back with episode 10 of the scots bass lessons podcast.

Now, I don't know about anybody else in the rest of the world, but right here in Leeds in the

United Kingdom, it is so, so cold. It was minus four on my way into work this morning. So I'm just, honestly, I'm sat next to the radiator, cuddled up next to it.

And if you hear any, I have to just point this out, if you hear any slobbering in the background,

it's my dog, George, the base dog.

He has got a bone.

I decided to treat him this morning,

bought one of those hide bones that dogs have and brought it in. But unfortunately,

he's slobbering behind me eating it. And I just can't bring myself to take it off him,

even though I'm recording this podcast, because he's just having such a great time eating it.

So anyway, let's check out episode 10.

So who have we got today?

Well, my guest today is, what can I say?

I've been a huge, huge fan of Tim Lefev for, well, for as long as I can remember.

I found out about Tim when I was in my, wow, early 20s and now obviously I'm 37.

So a good 17 years I've been following what Tim's been doing.

He's been bass player for and is base player for artists such as the Tedeschi Trucks band,

which is his full-time gig, but he's also bass player for guys such as Chris Bote, Toto, Sting, Uri Kaine, Dave Binney, Wayne Krantz, Donnie McCaskillin, Mark Giuliana, Donald Fagan.

And most notably right now, he played on the late

great David Bowie's last album, Black Star. Now, if you're listening to this anywhere else other
