This is Handel on the Law, Marginal Legal Advice, where I tell you you have absolutely no case.

I did this story a few weeks ago, and it's just absolutely fascinating.

It was about the AI program, this algorithm that was thought up by a couple of companies.

And another company, and I'm going to give you the names of companies because who needs

this, another company took this AI program and transferred it into a defense for traffic

tickets.

In other words, the program hears, and this is done through a pair of glasses in which there is a

speaker, actually an earbud, and there is a microphone that picks up what's happening in the

courtroom. And as questions are's happening in the courtroom.

And as questions are asked or as the policeman is on the stand, what it does is react to questions and scenarios.

The program goes through and actually puts into the ear the appropriate questions to ask, the appropriate

statements to make to give the best case.

I mean, it's pretty sophisticated stuff.

And needless to say, because it's AI and some very clever people, including lawyers,

wrote this thing, it's a hell of a lot more effective than anything the average Joe can come up with,

even if your name is Joe, but you're in front of the court for traffic ticket.

Okay, that was, you talk about revolutionary.

That was pretty neat.

Okay, now, the program is ready to start, and it's going to have it.

So, world debut here in Southern California in a defense of a traffic ticket.

Well, the word gets out, of course. It became fairly big news, and all of a sudden, the people who wrote this thing, people who own the program, were getting threats, in some cases jail threats.

So who in God's name would argue with this? How is this criminal? You know who it was that was coming down on this program?
