Maower and today we're talking about Ferrari and Infinities Electric

Vehicle Plans. Tesla stock on Tuesday closed up 1.14% to

$340.6 cents this compared to to the NASDAQ down 0.51%.

Supercharger network update we are still at 1,139 supercharging locations.

We'll start off with Ferrari, who is led by CEO Sergio Marcioni, who also happens to be the CEO of Fiat Chrysler.

Marcioni announced on Tuesday that Ferrari had plans to build an all-electric supercar, which I think is particularly interesting given the comments

that Mark Ioni has made on all-electric vehicles in the past.

As recently as Monday, Mark Ioni commented that the only reason that Fiat Chrysler is making electric vehicles

is to comply with government regulations.

The apparent difference between Fiat Chrysler and Ferrari is the profitability aspect because Markyoni believes that electric vehicles are currently not profitable at the price points that Fiat Chrysler sells at and the outlook for profitability is somewhat bleak versus with Ferrari's price point,

it may be more possible for Marcioni to create a profitable vehicle in that segment.

Marcioni said, quote, if there is an electric supercar to be built, then Ferrari will be the in that did, but I think it's doable by all of us."

The Tesla Roadster is supposed to start production for 2020.

Assuming that that slips a little bit, Ferrari would still have to come up with this design

pretty quickly.

Based on the verbiage that Marcioni is using,

it sounds like these plans are still very early stage

in that he's saying we will build this car and it should be doable.

So it doesn't seem to me like they are very far along in this project yet, so to have this

vehicle be the first to market from Marcioni's words, I think is unlikely.
