And we begin with a ridiculous problem for a middle school in New York.

Administrators at Great Neck North on Long Island

are urging parents to stop letting their kids

wear a certain beanie to school.

The reason, the pricey pom-pom hats are made by Monclare and cost upwards of $350 each.

When the students lose them, which they often do,

they freak out, disrupt the campus,

and waste the time of teachers and friends in a feverish bid to find them.

In a letter to parents, school officials say they understand how important fashion is to middle

schoolers, but essentially enough already.

Monclaire's popularity exploded after rapper Drake wore a puffer jacket with its logo

in his 2015 Hotline Bling music video. Some women shatter the glass ceiling.

Sarah Thomas tramples the green turf.

Ten years ago she was the first woman to ever

officiate a college football bowl, that in 2015 she became the

NFL's first full-time female referee.

And yesterday, Sarah made history again by becoming the first woman to officiate an NFL playoff game.

Her post-season debut was made during the Patriots Chargers matchup,

which New England won 41 to 28.

Sarah says she's honored to be considered a trailblazer,

but insist her focus is just on being the best
