Welcome back to the Iowa College basketball podcast.

Matt Norland here with me and I know we're getting this episode in your hands a little later

than normal, but that's because I was in Studio for CBS Sports Network to around 1 a.m.

last night in New York City that I flew home this morning landed this afternoon, so this

is the first real opportunity we've had to sit down.

So please accept my apologies, but we're here now in special shout to Seth Davis, the

CBS Sports Insider, Man and Char to the athletic and Jamie Urdall, the incredible CBS host

and reporter for their support of the I own college basketball podcast.

We were in Studio together last night.

First thing Seth does, shout out, Lauren now.

And then Jamie tells me how she got a chuckle when she was listening to the last episode

and her drive into the city.

She said she heard me at the very top of the episode.

You might remember this, Norlander.

I said we're not here to do like 50 minutes or an hour because it's New Year's Eve

and our families are waiting on us and then she looked down at her phone and realized the

episode was 51 minutes.

Just more proof that we can't help ourselves sometimes by sometimes I mean most times.
