Get some diamond notes, if you will, talking Michigan softball, Michigan softball coach Bonito, who joins us from the road as they are on their softball trip.

They're a spring break trip and to reflect upon the week that was and to look ahead to closing things out.

Good morning, Sam.

You're right.

We are one week into our spring break trip, and we're heading into the final stretch here

as we, this morning, the team's getting on the bus, heading over to Greensboro,

have a little practice outside, and then play four more games, two on Friday, two on Saturday, and head back to Ann Arbor.

So it's been a long trip. It's been productive in many ways, and still a lot of answers

to be found and to be explored. And so we're getting better and not as good as we're

going to be, but it's fun getting to know what the challenges are ahead. And we're looking forward

to it. We're up for the challenge, that's for sure. Well, you know, we've done this long enough now for me to know that you just don't steer us wrong.

I know the team knows that when you gave us the scout on Duke, you said, hey, look, it's not a power hitting team.

They put pressure on you on the base pass.
