It's Hammer Day.

There's a lot of clamoring still for a hammer when the news came yesterday and that

there was going to be an announcement of some sort today from the NCAA about Michigan

and the NCAA and there's their the investigation to science stealing

et cetera you see some buck guy fans out there and buck guy reporters talking about last

night being Christmas Eve and today being Christmas Day for what seriously there's

going to be a need we are going to need and not we necessarily but the collective we as

maybe a country we are going to need to send some we necessarily, but the collective we as maybe a country, we are going to need

to send some welfare checks, put out some welfare checks for all across the East Lansing

area, but even more so all across the state of Ohio today.

Later on today, when the findings and the penalties are announced, and it's probably going to be in the lines of a big fine. It's probably going to be in the lines of maybe, you know, some show causes for coaches that, whether they have a show cause or not, it doesn't matter. For those that don't know, show cause means that it's very hard to get a job. But if you already have a job, it doesn't matter. And if you don't want to coach in college, it doesn't matter. So say they give Jim Harbaugh a six-year show cause. I'll just use that as an example. He can't coach in college football for the next six years without a waiver, essentially being applied for and received. First of all, Will Wade is still coaching. He was on a show cause. They got a waiver for him. So I bet you a school could probably get a waiver for Jim Harbaugh if he was in fact on a show cause. But it makes it more difficult to hire a coach if they're on one. But if the coach is in the NFL and doesn't care, then it really doesn't matter. It's just a token slap on the wrist fine and penalty. and it's just to, you know, act as if they did something to move on. So the NCAA is going to try to act tough, at least my opinion, they're going to try to act tough. And they're going to try to act tough by giving a, by giving that fine, by giving a show cause or two to some people that it doesn't matter for, if they give Sharon Moore, which I don't think they would, but if they gave Sharon Moore a show cause, he already has a job. It only, the show cause only comes into play if he's looking for a new job in college. He has a job as the head coach at Michigan. It doesn't impact that at all. Now, there is the talk about a couple games suspension, so that's definitely a

possibility and that's still on the table.

We've heard that report in the past and the report about potentially being games

three and four for Central Michigan and for Nebraska as opposed to being for games

one and two.

We'll find that if that does hold or if that is going to happen.

Could there be more? Will the NCAA take what Michigan is offered in their conversations if that is, in fact, what's been offered? And will they just take that and say, we're good and not add more? Will they add more? But you have people that are clamoring for this hammer that is not coming. The hammer is not coming. Things that are not going to happen.

Charlie Baker already said Michigan won fair and square.

There will be no vacation, no vacating of wins and games.

That's not going to happen.
