Welcome back to the Michigan insider, Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com. So as I mentioned a little while ago, all three teams that are currently in season in Detroit were in action yesterday. We're going to dismiss the Red Wings talk because they're in all three games skid and not playing well right now. Nope. Obviously enjoyed the Lions game pretty thoroughly yesterday. There are some injury questions that you're going to keep asking, no question about that.

But thorough victory for the Lions yesterday in Washington,

and now they hit to Philly for a big matchup against the Eagles coming up on Sunday night

for Sunday night football this coming weekend.

And then there were also the Pistons last night.

They were the last of the teams to be in competition.

And actually got off to a slightly slow start at the beginning of the game the very beginning of the game yeah

and then by the time the first quarter was over it was a very high scoring first quarter they had a

nice comfortable league they were up by five points they did not play all that well in the second

quarter no they played a much better in the third quarter, and then they ended up holding on at the end.

It was, what it was tied, kind of late in the game. And then, of course, Cade, you know, does this thing and they end up winning the game. But they went to give 11-108. The Pistons, the Sixers had a shot late. Was it Max? I think put up the shot late. And it didn't go in.

And the Pistons get the win.

I mean, we obviously can start every Pistons conversation.

Was it six wins in a row now? They're playing great basketball. They're sitting there at 8 and 2 early on in the season through 10 games. Top of the east. Top of the east again. Through just 10 games. I know. Very small sample size, but it's a great start to the season. and just comparing to the last few years it's great start to the season. That's outstanding.

And every conversation generally with the piss and starts with, with Cade, 26 points, 11 assists. I know, still got to work on the turnovers. He had five in the game yesterday, the still thing. But can we talk for a minute or two about Jalen Dern? That dude. That dude, he's a dude. So first, I think it's a good time to talk about Jail and Dern because he went home last night. He's from Philly. He's, uh, went to, he actually, just a couple of sides. I love going down these rabbit holes. I used to do this with my dad when I was a kid. And so he went back home because he graduated high school. He went to Mont Verde. But before that, he played high school basketball at Roman Catholic in Philadelphia. Roman Catholic has had a lot of great players. DePaul had a player named Dallas Comigees, name you just never forget, right? He was from Roman Catholic, for example. Marvin Harrison, Sr. He went to Roman Catholic. And there's a guy that you are very familiar with that I don't know if you know his name or not, but you're very familiar with him that went to Roman Catholic. His name was John Fesenda. John Fisenda was the voice of NFL films.
