Hey everyone and welcome to a solo episode of the Jeff McElino podcast.

listen. Maybe not to the solo podcast but look, I had to bump a guest to next week and

luckily it worked better for his schedule as well. But I kind of made a secret commitment

to myself, one of the things that everyone will tell you with a podcast and I don't think

this is a secret is to be consistent. And my goal was no matter what, rain or shine, I

got to put out to a week. So I have four guests signed up in the next 10 or 11 days I believe.

So I've got some good ones coming. But this one, I got to carry the load myself. And obviously,

if you've listened to these, you know, the solo ones are a little bit shorter than the

ones with the guests. Hopefully you've enjoyed the guests I've had so far and I've got, again,

four dynamite guests coming up in the next week and a half. I'll space obviously the podcast

episodes out over two weeks. A couple comedians that I'm very excited to talk to and got a musician

with a Twitch stream. So I'll learn what that is. And I'm so unhyp. It's not funny. It's kind of sad.

And I also have a finance guy. Now there's more than just finance to this guy that I'm going to

talk to him about. However, I'm going to talk to him a little bit about finance stuff too.

Well, this is obviously the goal of this podcast is to be comedically themed and entertaining.

You may already have noticed I also want to try to learn some things. You know, I'm kind of

intentionally ignorant is how I refer to it. I'm a smart guy. I've got a high IQ. You don't

have to believe me, but I do. But I've intentionally not learned certain things.

Sometimes it's easier being ignorant than knowing because it can be depressing to know things.

Talk to me about the government for a little while and you'll see why I say that.
