And for that, we bring in one of Sam's guys. We're bringing Bryce Barish from the Michigan Insider.com on the 247 network. Bryce, good morning, my friend. How are you? Good. Good morning to you guys, too. Happy almost football season, my friends.

So let's jump right in. Big day today. Sam talked about this a little bit yesterday, but I want your take on it as we approach 1115 this morning. Savion Heiter, the number one running back in America out of Virginia. And I know he's got a final four of Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, and Michigan with Tennessee and Michigan kind of as the finalist. Although I found it remarkable, Bryce, that at last night, unless I was looking in the wrong place, I didn't see a single crystal ball lodged for him. And that's pretty unusual the night before an announcement, but he's played it pretty close to the vest. So what's your take on the whole thing?

You know, for him, he's been a very public guy in terms of not being public, doing interviews,

doing things like that.

I think the biggest thing with him is just he's looking for the perfect fit, right? And he's not into the media

attention. He's not into doing interviews. He's not in the glitz and glamour of the recruiting

process. He just wants to play football and get education. I think when you're looking at that,

Michigan loves those type of kids as well. So yeah, those four schools mentioned have been

jockeying in this recruitment for a while. It seems like Michigan and Tennessee have kind of

been neck and neck for very several months here. And decision day right now, if I had to put in

the pick and as you noted, no one has. I think it's just

the fact that he's been very quiet. His camp has been very quiet on that front, but I would

give the edge right now to Michigan in terms of landing this elite prospect. And here's the other

thing about it. Michigan, you know, we always talk about never

wanting to put in recruiting, never wanting to put too many eggs in one basket. This was a guy

they put basically all their eggs in a basket. Like this was the guy, right? This is a Bryce

underwood of their cycle. This is someone they've been targeting for years.

He's got a long-standing relationship with running back coach Tony Alford.

And I think, you know, a lot of people run on point to the NIL, and that's always a factor in recruitment like this.

But Michigan has done a very good job in terms of selling him on a vision, right,

and how he would project in this offense.
