As we get ready for tonight's number one versus number seven, Michigan at Purdue matchup.

So here are Sam and Dusty from yesterday now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK.

The road into Big Ten is riddled with challenging opponents. And coming up tomorrow,

you face what in many ways I feel like kind of was, was maybe the most eye-opening experience

for you last year as far as the Big Ten is concerned. Forgive me, that's presumptuous. But that's what

it felt like watching outside because you guys went to Mackie and it was like running into a bus saw. And I remember talking to you afterward and you're like, hey, there's a level of physicality and intensity that we got to play to. And you did to your credit. But was it like that for you last year that game at Purdue?

And what do you see from the Boilermakers this year?

Yeah, that was a learning experience for us.

And, you know, we're not, our egos aren't so much that we can't admit that when we failed

or when we weren't properly prepared.

And that's part of self- that's self it's part of

self evaluation and it's part of of having a growth mindset and we did a poor job of letting

our players know how difficult that game was going to be when when you play in that environment

and i've never been to fog i've never been to you know, Assembly Hall when I was rocking back in the heyday

was on a similar level.

But when you play in that environment, you can't communicate verbally.

You can't hear yourself think.

Your ears are ringing.

And we got to that point at FAU.
