Summary

What We’re Talking About In This Episode! How to reduce or eliminate sugar from your diet in 5 simple steps! Some of the scary stats on sugar Some of the common places sugar is hiding that we may not realize The benefits of reducing or eliminating your sugar intake   Episode Summary Today we are discussing one of the most toxic relationships in everyone’s lives, sugar! I will be breaking down the 5 simple steps it takes to break up with sugar, and explain why living without sugar is the key to a better life. In our modern-day society, sugar is almost unavoidable and indistinguishable, most of the time you don’t even know you are consuming it. Almost 75% of the food in the grocery store has added sweetener, and yet we continue to put these chemicals into our bodies and end up feeling terrible. The World Health Organization stated in 2015 that sugars should take up 5% of our diet. However, this is not the case for many people, and your health is suffering because of it! If you are thinking about breaking up with sugar than this episode is for you. By replacing sugar with a positive lifestyle, and learning to love ourselves enough to break the habit, we can see an increase in our mood, energy, stamina and overall quality of life. Learn how an accountability partner can keep you on track, what starches and fibres to stay away from, and how Peppermint Oil can curb your cravings and be the ultimate weight loss tool. Ask yourself my 3 key questions to figure out if you have hidden sugar triggers in your life, and how to reverse our conditioned minds so you can stop getting instant gratification from sugar. As a bonus, listen to receive your free cheat sheet with recipes to help you stop cravings, increase energy and reset stress. Listen to today’s episode for all of this and more, and finally ditch sugar.   Resources Mentioned Follow Dr. Lauren Klum on Twitter Dr. Alan Hirsch Blog about Peppermint Oil Sugar Cheat Sheet   Check out the full show notes page Keep up with everything Dr. Mariza Follow Dr. Mariza on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Youtube   Please review us on iTunes. And, if you haven’t already, SUBSCRIBE!
