As we are going to the break, I read, there was one more piece to this discussion where the disclosure of the dealings for student athletes as far as these NIL deals are concerned,

it's been a major part of our conversation when it comes to how this is going to be handled moving forward.

I'm wondering how the powers that be, how they think that they were they're going to pass the

past legal scrutiny was one of our one of one of one of the the the hurdles that we wonder how

they thought they were going to get over that continues to be the case yeah so sam yesterday was

the 13th congressional hearing over college sports.

And there was a lot that, you know, and I could not follow the whole thing.

But there were some pieces that were, you know, that I picked out.

And one in particular that jumped out to me that I haven't mentioned yet.

I don't know who William King is.

He's a big wig at the SEC. I'm not exactly sure where he is on their org chart, but he's a big wig in the SEC.

And he told the lawmakers yesterday at this congressional hearing that officials are planning

to create a database of athlete earnings that will be accessible by players, schools,

and agents giving them not specific details of each individual contract,

but an average of compensation by positioning conference.

And he said, quote, we're still working on the details of how it will be shared and who will be shared with.

And he also said that there may be some legal concerns over the database.

And that was my, I'm like, you think?

Sam, why would you give them any of your information?

How is that legal to ask somebody's private contract information?
