But yesterday was also the first day of the traditional signing period in college football.

And so the Michigan Wolverines picked up one additional commitment yesterday.

That is Ty Haywood at around the 9 o'clock hour.

So 22-ish, give or take hours ago.

That announcement came to fruition that he made it official that he was joining the fold for

the maze and blue.

Ty Haywood, the push was super strong toward the end of the early signing period.

We knew the decommitment from Alabama was on the horizon, but there were a lot of teams

kind of pushing.

Now, you knew it wasn't just about the interest.

You knew NIL was going to be a major play.

But we told people at the time that Michigan was a big time player in the NIL space.

But it was selective.

It wasn't, Michigan wasn't going to spend indiscriminately like some schools, it was going to be,

it was going to slot.
