Michigan men's lacrosse coach Kevin Connery back on the show after what was a very successful week one for the program.

Yeah.

I remember last week we were talking about what you wanted to see out of your

team in the opening game, and I don't remember the exact response, but I'm going to venture

a guess and say a 14 to 1 victory over Marquette pretty much fit the bill. Yeah, you know,

we're proud of the outcome. I still think we can take a look at the film and just see a lot

of things where we can improve on.

But whenever you start the season one and oh, it's a good start.

So I want to start on the defense event because one goal, I don't care who you're playing.

And even in like the most mismatched lacrosse games that I've ever witnessed, the other team ends

of scoring a couple of goals here and there.

Bounces just kind of happen. How do you keep a team, a Division I lacrosse team, to one goal in a game?

Well, I think what you can look at is you've got to look at the whole team, right?

You've got to look at contributions from our attack, as much as you can say contributions from our defense.

We swallowed the ball up.
