So there I was, minding my own business.

Not a great starting part of a conversation.

Yesterday, was it yesterday afternoon, early evening?

I can't remember exactly what time it was.

But I was sitting there and at some point in time, it was, I guess, late afternoon.

I wouldn't call it early evening.

I guess I would say late afternoon.

I was there, minding my own business, just following along, social media, et cetera.

And the news came down that the Baltimore Ravens are hiring,

we're hiring Jesse Minner to be their new head football coach.

And I got pretty excited.

I'll be honest.

Like, I get pretty excited because this is the guy, and I'm biased.

I own it.

I own my biases.

But talked about this over the last couple of years.

You had these young guys that had come from Baltimore and had spent some time in Baltimore

that were then, obviously you spent time here in Ann Arbor, Mike McDonald first, and then

Jesse Minter's second, you know, combined three years as Michigan's defensive coordinator

and these young, brilliant minds.

And Mike goes back to the NFL to go be the D.C. in Baltimore briefly.
