So we'll start this hour the way we started the last hour, unfortunately,

with a disappointing performance last night by the Michigan men's basketball team.

They did have a 40-31 lead at the half over Minnesota in the Twin Cities.

And in the game of, it was kind of an ebbs and flows game,

it was a sloppy first half.

It was an ugly first half, but Michigan won't have to run late,

a 10-0 run to put them up.

And then Minnesota did hit a bucket late to cut it to nine at the half.

But they did it without Danny Wolf playing,

having a solid first half.

The first half was about Trey Donaldson.

It was about Vlad golden and it was about Will Cheddar coming back home. Will was had 11 points on three or four shooting from long range

at the half. Vlad had 10 and 6 at the half and Trey had 11 at the half. But and Michigan and the other

obviously the other story storyline in the first half is that there were still turnovers. And Michigan

committed, uh, was it six turnovers in the first, uh, 14 minutes of the, of the game. And Michigan committed, was it, six turnovers in the first 14 minutes of the game.

And Minnesota didn't commit one until 620 to go in the first half.

And Michigan went from that mark, that 620 to go in the first half where Minnesota

committed their first turnover, which was a travel violation.

Michigan went the next seven minutes or so without committing another one.

But turnovers early in the game cost Michigan's ability to really get into a rhythm early

and probably could have established a much bigger lead earlier in the game.
