So woke up this morning to a tweet from Adam Schaefter that, you know, we spent a lot of time here over the last many years.

People talk about Jim Harbaugh and talk about how he's just not authentic and he's disingenuous.

And we would be like, no, you just don't know the guy.

And he actually, he's quirky. He's unusual, but he is very authentic and he is very genuine.

Well, Adam Schaefter tweeted out three hours ago, so about three, four o'clock in the morning,

Eastern time, LAFD, so the LA fire department said it would love a morale boost.

So Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh went up to the base camp off PCH and the

Palisades on Thursday night. Harbaugh met firefighters, police and members of the National Guard. And there was a video posted by going around and yeah he's you know talking to the dogs and the people and thanking them for their service and how what you know the work that they're putting in and he's out there and

that's the kind of guy that he would it doesn't surprise me and you know that's on the heels of

us finding out a day before that he is going to have a heart procedure and hip replacement surgery

this off season uh but yesterday he uh he the word. They needed some morale boost.

And so he took to the hills.

And he took to, got to the Palisades and went to their base camp.

And it was really cool to see.

And you could tell it.

You know, one guy is telling him he's the guy in the beanie at the game.

And another guy is telling him, you know, just the excitement of just for that moment in time of being

able to kind of not forget what you're doing because you're there for a very important job.

And Jim's there to tell them that or remind him that and thank them.

And that was a big part.

Everything he talked about was thankfulness for the work that they were doing.
