college football is right around the corner.

Getting pretty excited about that.

Welcome back to the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTCA online at the big 1050.com.

We knew we were inching closer.

We have gone through what, Big 12 media days, SEC media days, the American conference,

no longer the American Athletic Conference, no longer the AAC, but just the American Conference.

Some of the other group of what six, they've had their media days.

The Big Ten, though, is today through Thursday.

The ACC's are this week.

And so as we get through the conclusion of these Big Ten media days, we are, yeah, we're getting pretty excited for the upcoming season.

So Big Ten football media days are upon us.

They will be today, tomorrow, and Thursday in Las Vegas.

And so usually we're used to these things happening starting in the morning.

But because it's in Las Vegas, everything kicks off later on today at 2 p.m.

Eastern time with the commissioner of the Big Ten conference, Tony Petiti.

And needless to say, my thoughts about what Tony Petitie was going to say, or maybe he still won't be able to talk about it.

I don't know. But what Tony Petitie is going to say today, my opinions of that took a dramatic turn yesterday when we were driving home from Chicago and my wife was doing the driving and I was doing just kind of starting to catch up.

I had really done a great job of checking out more or less for the weekend.

It was a really detached, recharge, have a really fun weekend away and just have a good time.

And then realize, of once you uh you know

once we're making that drive back to antarbor that uh you've got to make that transition back
