Miz, in the end, last night's Pistons basketball game was essentially just a cliche of basketball.

Because basketball, a lot of times most often is a game of runs.

And if you go on the longest run last, you usually win the game.

I've said this many times.

And we talk in college basketball about the kill shot, the 10-0 run.

Well, the Pistons had the 12-0 run.

They were down 89-85 in the middle of the fourth quarter.

And then fast forward, back-to-back two is by Paul Reed, back-to-back threes by

Cade and Danes.

There were some great defense in there by Paul Reed and Assar Osar Thompson and there were two free throws made by Asar. 12-0-Pissons run makes it 97-89, Detroit. They're up eight with 504 to go in the game. That run should have been the backbreaker to knock out Cleveland.

Now, I know there's five minutes to go in the game.

But that should have been the run that is the backbreaker

where you create an eight-point lead and you're able to maintain some sort of separation.

But the piston scored six points, the remainder of regulation.

In the final five minutes and four seconds, they scored six points.

And obviously they scored those six points in the next two minutes because they didn't

score any points in the final three minutes of regulation.

So go on the longest run and last because now Cleveland's was it, did it end up going

and it was 9-0 at the end of regulation

they made the first basket maybe it was the first couple of baskets

because the run could have extended it beyond 11-0
