Welcome back inside the Ann Arbor Studios of the Big 1050 WTCA online at the Big 1050.com.

So Friday night, the Michigan men's basketball team took care of business and eventually pulled away to beat Ohio State and get their victory and improve the Michigan men's basketball team to 8 and 1 in the Big 10, 18 and 1 overall on setting up this huge week tomorrow night against Nebraska,

number 7 in the country at the Chrysler Center, and then Friday night at number 10 Michigan

State.

So two top 10 matchup, top 10 games, of course, for Michigan this week.

But on Friday night, they had their matchup with Ohio State.

They took care of business at the Chrysler Center and eventually pulled away to win

the game 7462.

But most of the attention of the game was, at least for me, I mean, obviously the game

was a big part of it.

But there was the nostalgia aspect of Friday night as well.

The Trey Burke, Jersey retirement.

The jersey goes up to the rafters at halftime, hearing from Trey at a media availability before the game. He was terrific. I wasn't sure if we were going to share this with you this morning or not before it started. I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to make it just schedule-wise on Friday to get to the pregame media availability. But I was able to get there. And Trey was terrific. And we wanted to bring it to you right now. So here is Trey Burke from Friday night, meeting with the media prior to getting his jersey, his banner raised and retired. No, the number isn't retired, but he is honored. I should say, to have that jersey raised and honored in the rafters prior to that. Trey Burke met with the media and here is that now.

How's everybody doing today?

It's good.

It's hard to put this in words, to be honest.

I started this journey at five years old, and it started with an imagination.

It started with just a vision that I had to be the best that I could be in this game.

And, man, like, I don't really know how to put this in the words.

I'm so happy.

I'm so filled with joy to be here, to be able to be honored at such a great university.
