They got a win over USC 7367 yesterday at the Chrysler Center for the Michigan women's basketball team as they sit now 8 and 1 in the Big 10.

They are a game behind Iowa.

They're a game behind UCLA, the two 9 and 0 teams. They're the lone 8 and 1 in the Big 10. They are a game behind Iowa. They're a game behind UCLA, the 2 9-0 teams.

They're the lone 8-1 team.

You have Michigan State and Ohio State sitting there at 7 and 2.

And, of course, Michigan is going to play UCLA, Iowa, Michigan State twice, and Ohio State all coming up in the month of February.

So Michigan's right there in the middle of those teams. And a lot to decide between now and the end of the regular season. But yesterday, a win over USC to improve the Wolverines, Kim Barnjerico's Wolverines, the 17 and 3 on the season, 8 and 1 in the Big 10. And after the game, we heard from Kim Barnjerico. We heard from Brooke Quarles Daniels. and we heard from Silas Swordords. So it's now here from KBA, BQD, and Scyla here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK. Well, what an amazing basketball game. So happy that our fans were able to come out. I was really nervous. We were going to be back in like COVID mode where we weren't going to have any people here. But it was great to have our fans.

These guys met with the maze rage yesterday, and they were out for our game today,

which was really awesome as well.

I think the fans made a difference for us in the fourth quarter, and it's great to keep

growing that fan base.

But what an incredible basketball game, You know, a game of runs.

They're a really good team that we couldn't stop in the third quarter, but then they couldn't

stop us in the fourth. And we held them to nine. I thought our team really stuck together in that

fourth quarter, and it was led by Brooks Energy.

She was just relentless the entire game.

I thought Scylla was phenomenal on Jazzy the entire game and really disruptive to her.

So all around team effort and a great win.
