I'm not sure if we've had as busy a day.

It's always recency bias when I say this.

And welcome back to The Michigan Insider here on the Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com. I know it's recency bias because you probably say it every year when there's a busy trade deadline or when there's an unusual draft or some big come from behind. You're always like, oh, this is the biggest. But is the... But I don't remember the last time that it felt like, and this was 46 trades over the final 48 hours leading up to the trade deadline across baseball. Now, some of the deals were like the one where the Tigers traded. Pitcher Dietrich ends to the Baltimore Orioles for cash considerations.

I don't know why the Orioles made that move, but that's besides the point.

So some of the moves were like that, but there were 46 moves made over 48 hours.

And the Tigers were very busy.

Obviously, we had talked about the acquisition of Chris Paddock, and he goes out there,

and he already pitches for the Tigers, and he does fairly well. But over the course of the day yesterday, the Orioles were, or the tigers were able to do

more, a lot more or so it felt.

All throughout the course the day now, none of the moves felt like they were these big moves

because even the paddock move and they were able to acquire the arm

he's still as a four five or whatever er a none of these moves felt like they were like a huge

move but there were a collection of moves where maybe as a group of them because they acquired

seven arms although not all of them are ready to go.

Maybe it's one of those where you're just kind of,

all right,

if you get enough guys that show flashes,

and all these guys have shown at least flashes or have had good runs in their careers,

or at least in this season or beyond.

But it's, again, none of the A-list guys

that were available at pitcher were brought.

And these were more second, third tier, fourth tier, depending upon the guy.
