wrapping up this behind the uniform conversation here on the Big 1050 WTKA.

That leadership that you are showing now that you showed in that game,

was that a role, a sort of presence that you took on from the beginning of last season,

or was that something that evolved as the year went on?

I think it evolved.

I think it's one of those things where going to the season,

you might not necessarily know

whose interior leader is going to be.

You don't necessarily know how everything is going to shape around.

And for myself, you know, being a leader, I'm one to really lead by example and not necessarily

vocal wise necessarily.

But for myself was I saw that, you know, when things need to be said, you know, I wasn't afraid

to step in and say those things. I don't think, I've been blessed and fortunate to be around great leaders,

great leaders from players to coaches to other staff. And, but what's so unique about those leaders

is how they led. They're so unique to end up to themselves. And one of the things about Coach

BJ, when he said to me, I always remember it is, you know, he said, you know, he said, be yourself, be leader,

don't be afraid to be yourself. You know, I really took that to heart. And because I knew that, you know, I wasn't, I was a quiet, I'm a, I'm a, I'm really quiet person. You know, I'm not going to say a whole lot, but when I say something, you know, I know it's going to,

I know it's going to be very loud. It's going to speak very loudly on what I'm going to say because I don't speak very often. Because for myself, I believe your action is going to show more than your words are going to be. And so being that, providing that presence and being like guy that can be for the young guys.

And it's really like that comfort level because all I want people to be is to be themselves.
