And our defender of the game brought to you by the law office of Joseph A. Simon.

I had a hard time with this one. Some games, you know, that really jumps out of you. Other games, it doesn't. And in this one, there were a few guys that I thought were really good candidates to be in this conversation. But in the end, I decided to go with the safeties, the three defensive backs in particular. You had Mason Curtis, who was really making his presence felt. He had a pass breakup in the game. He had seven tackles in the game. Talking about Brandon Hillman, who had five tackles in the game. He had a half a tackle for loss in there. He had an interception in the game. He had a couple of really big hits in the game, really making his presence felt. T.J. Metcalf, he had three tackles in the game,

and those three guys, again, combining for, what was the 15 tackles at the safety position

plus the interception and the past breakup and a couple other big hits

and some other plays that they made.

1:05.4

Really young guys gaining experience as, well, for T.J.

gaining experience as a Michiganigan football player for the other

1:12.4

two guys they have some but not a lot of experience and so to get that experience uh in the opener

1:16.8

to play as well as they did it seemed there again there were some moments where you know the

1:21.0

defense would like to have a couple of plays back but i thought those three safeties really

played well for what they were asked to do in this game.

1:28.6

And it's fun to watch me.

1:30.2

Now, he's a little skinny.

1:31.3

It looks a little skinny out there because Mason Curtis is so long. He's probably not that skinny. He just looks a little skinnier than some of the other guys because of how long he is. but that 6-4 frame at safety is going to be a problem for a lot of players because a lot of times

1:29.2

you want to take a tight end and match him against the safety because the tight end is bigger. Well, a tight end is not going to be bigger than Mason Curtis. Not going to get that size, that height advantage against Mason Curtis. You want to match a, you get linebackers against safety because of speed, or tight ends against linebackers because of speed. Tight ends against safeties. It's a size thing. And Mason Curtis can eliminate that and can really be a valuable tool in that backfield. Again, the versatility where all the guys can kind of play a little bit of everything and move around as needed. And we know that at some point in time, Rod Moore is going to come back too and bolster that secondary as well.

But I really like what we saw from the safeties in this game. Your defenders of the game, Mason Curtis, Brandon Hillman, and T.J. Metcalf, the defender of the gamer, in this case, the defenders. Ready to kick off the fun? Chumba Casino is your go-to game plan. During halftime or overtime, from spinning slots to instant scratch style cards.
