And there were a lot of good plays in that game. It was a fun game. Not a perfect game. Obviously, you're not going to get that, especially early on in the season. Notre Dame basically just takes a knee to end to go to halftime. And then Miami gets the ball to begin the second half. But on Saturday night, especially in a game against a team like New Mexico, I think we were all on the same page where we wanted Michigan to get the ball first.

And they did.

Got the ball first and went right down the field, including a nice play.

As Samaj Morgan, who made a nice move to pick up the extra yard or two of the end to convert a third and six into a first down. We didn't see a lot of explosive plays from the Michigan offense last year.

A few big running plays here and there, but it was nice to see the offense get going early on their very first possession. In fact, they kept on rolling their next

possession after a three and out defensive possession by the Wolverines. And then that,

the muff pumped by Samaj Morgan, Michigan was, he was able to recover. Michigan starts
