So one year ago today, you were either in Houston, Texas, or you were preparing to watch the game that was going to be played down in Houston, Texas.

It was a different kind of a vibe than the vibe out in Pasadena, California.

First of all, it's sunny Southern, where you're under the palm trees,

all that kind of good stuff.

But the Rose Bowl is its own unique place.

It's different than any other bowl game.

It's its own unique situation.

And so you put that one and kind of put it in its own box and have the Houston conversation

separate because the national championship, the national championship game,

it had its own vibe.

Houston obviously taken over by the natty, the coverage of the national championship, the fans

did it come in.

And obviously a lot of maize and blue.

There was plenty of purple to go around as well.

And it was one of those days that you'll never forget.

Yeah, I think about it all the time.

I'm sure that a lot of you do as well when you think back over your great sports memories

and for one reason or another, there's a reason to think about the national championship

game, whether you see the logo pop up somewhere or somebody brings it up or whatever

the different reasons are.

I end up thinking about the trip to Pasadena, the trip to Houston a fair amount because
