Obviously the Lions had the number one seed in the NFC.

So no lions this weekend.

They await their opponent to see what happened.

They'll find out their opponent on, they'll know either on Sunday or Monday who the opponent either is or who it'll be amongst, right?

They'll know if there's an upset on wildcard Sunday.

They'll know that they are facing a wildcard team from Sunday.

And if there are no upsets on Sunday, then they know they'll face in the winter of the

Minnesota L.A. Rams game.

So Dan Campbell yesterday, he talked to the media about injuries.

He talked about Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson as head coaching candidates.

Man, he's really trying to promote his guys, even though you can tell he doesn't want to lose

his guys, but he wants his guys to succeed. So that's what head coaches are supposed to do, really.

And so a lot from Dan Campbell yesterday as his team has a relatively quiet week, which is a good

thing. They need a chance to rest, rehab, and recover and get ready physically for the next

matchup.

And by the time they get back to work on Monday, they'll know either who their opponent is or

that is coming from the Monday night game and they'll be able to really get back to work

at that point in time.
