But we're wrapping up our Michigan women's basketball hour, if you will, might as well just keep this conversation going. I spend a little bit of time. This is the thing. When you have 9 o'clock games, 9 p.m. games,

especially when they're road games and you're really out.

And there's not a great night of basketball just in general.

They're not a ton of great games. I watch some of the TCU Baylor game, the women's game. But, man, Olivia Miles just kept getting big shots and they pulled away. So it's just not a really entertaining basketball night last night. So I'm just like, either finding other things to watch on TV or just getting some work done

or thinking about things. And I started, I was thinking a little bit about, you know, trying to make my plans for the weekend. And I was thinking about that, you know, the four games and three days thing. And in particular Sunday for Nas Hillman and the retirement, not the game part of it, the pregame part of it. Yeah. So be in your seats early, doors open at 2.45.

Her jersey retirement's at 3.45. The game is at 4 o'clock. It's a maze out, dressed appropriately, all that stuff. I cannot wait to celebrate Nas on Sunday. We have a picture in the house from when great, it was, had to have been pre-COVID. Gracie was very young.

It was Nas's either her freshman or sophomore year.

I think it was her sophomore, but it was very early. And we're sitting at the game. And ball ends up somehow out of bounds. I don't know if the ref let Gracie hold it, which they seem to do a lot of, they've been doing it a bunch lately. I can't remember.

Gracie had the ball in her hand,

and then I think it just came to us,

and she was holding it,

and then she would not, the ref asked for it. No, the ref gave it to her, and then the ref comes to ask for it back. Like, and now, Gracie, you know, passes it back. That happened twice in the last game, the last home game. But she wouldn't give the ball back to the ref.

Grace is pretty young.

Again, this is, you know, we're talking 28, too. We're talking like six, seven, eight years ago. It was probably seven, eight years ago. So she was probably like, she was probably about five years ago. Like she was probably about five years old. And I know, I'm crushing me right now. Well, no, I'm just saying thank you for putting an eight at the end of that, too.

Yeah, So she, um, so we're talking about, you know, a five, six year old kid. She's got the ball in her hands and she won't give it to the ref. Nas comes over to do the inbound. And Nas puts her hands out and Gracie immediately throws it to her. But there's, but the pictures on our wall. I think it was JD got the picture. JD Scott, great photographer. Good brother right there. Shoots Michigan Women's Basketball a bunch. And I believe he's the one that got the picture. And it's just a great picture of this handoff of the basketball of Nas getting the ball from Gracie. And so, you know, that picture is in our house. I look at it. I see it a lot.

It's in Gracie.

I think we actually have two copies of it.

But we, and it's in Gracie's room and it's in our sport. And I like, so I think about Nas a lot. I think about those teams. Gracie and, of course, Daniel Rauch from that team is in Michigan assistant women's basketball coach now. And that's why Gracie has worn 23 up until this year.
