So last night, the Michigan women's basketball team eventually takes care of business,

pulls away, wins by 22 over Northwestern after the game.

There was no media available.

Well, there probably was some sort of immediate availability, but the coverage of Northwestern

and on the road, 9 o'clock game,

women's game, there's not that much coverage. I don't think from Northwestern on the men's side. I know Michigan men obviously have a lot, had a lot of people covering the game. Our buddy, Zach was out there. Well, he also lives there, but Zach was out there covering the game. But there's just not a lot of coverage of North, from a Northwestern women's basketball game at 9 o'clock Eastern on a Thursday night.

Even when you have a top 10 team in town. But we did hear after the game on the radio from KBA. She was on with Matt Park. And I usually listen to this, but I'm usually on my way home from the game, but when I'm not at the game, because it's a road game. I don't usually get a chance to hear it.

So we're going to bring it to you now.

Here is Kim Barnsorico post game last night with the voice of Michigan women's basketball, Matt Park. Now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTCA. Throwing on the headset right now, the head coach of the Wolverines, Kim Barnes-Zerico. This thing is always a pain in the butt.

As she, we get the years flipped and the coach, you peel some pain in the locker room

at halftime.

Obviously, a huge turnaround for your team in the second half.

What was the difference?

What flipped that game in the third quarter?

I think we were super flat. I'm not exactly sure why, but we just came out. Couldn't get stops

on the defensive end. They were able to attack us. And then it took us a minute to figure out the

matchup. But, you know, we figured it out. We finished with 26 assists, so we figured it out in the

second half. There had to be a moment. Maybe it was that other banked in three there that put them up seven. And you start to think, oh, my gosh, what is going on? And I said at the time, Michigan can't afford to let that bother them. They can't put their heads down. They just got to keep playing. Immediately you guys went on a big run.

Not that you were listening to me, but I said the same thing. Hey, look. I said the same thing at halftime. And we couldn't get a bucket to fall either. We were missing shippies that we normally make. So we just talked about that too. Just relax. Yeah, they banked it too, right? Yeah, I said you took 14 more shots than them in the first half and made the same amount and then the second half you made 22 shots and they took
